We
don't like the Bears trading out of the first round
and then taking a Division II player with their first
pick. We see a ton of projects in this draft class
for the Bears. No tight end taken in one of the best
tight end drafts in years.
Fantasy
Impact:
None:
We really thought that we'd be talking about a
new Bears tight end, but we are left wondering if
Devin Hester will be used on defense or offense. Hester
will be used on kickoff returns.

We
love the picks of Calhoun and Scott. Both of those
players were thought to go higher. However, in a few
years we will be scratching our heads at the Lions
passing on Matt Leinart.
Fantasy
Impact:
Moderate:
Calhoun should be able to hawk some carries from
Kevin Jones this year. If Jones has another questionable
year, Calhoun will be battling him for the starting
job in 2007.

The
Packers addressed several needs, most notably at LB.
Hawk and Hodge will form the nucleous of a new defensive
mindset. Jennings will have to fill Javon Walker's
shoes. The only reason that the Packers didn't get
an A is because you need to factor in the loss of
Walker.
Fantasy
Impact:
Moderate:
The Packers drafted 2 WRs and another player (Blackmon)
that has played CB and WR. Expect at least one of
these 3 to be in the starting lineup by midyear. Early
leader would be Jennings.

We
like the Greenway pick although he will have to bulk
up some. The Vikings reached on Tarvaris Jackson.
Cedric Griffin should be pretty solid.
Fantasy
Impact:
Minimal:
You won't see much of Jackson this year as he
will be learning from Brad Johnson. It appears right
now, that Jackson will be given the reins in a year
or two.
