Joe Thomas - OT - Wisconsin

	Positives: - This Outland Trophy winner is intelligent as well as being physically imposing at 6-8, 310lbs. In High School, Thomas was a 4-year honor roll student and a part of the U.S. Army Academic All-America team. On the field he has been dominant and steady, other than his ACL tear in last year's Capital One Bowl, while he was playing defensive end. His athleticism stands out as he played OL, TE and DE as a freshman. He has been entrenched as the Badgers LT for the last three seasons. He should have the size to handle the bull rush and the athleticism to handle speed rushers as well. Thomas also has high character as he was one of 11 finalists for the Wuerffel Trophy, that rewards for community service, academic and athletic achievements.
	Negatives: - The only negatives that we can pull out is the fact that Thomas did have ACL surgery at the end of last season. The medical checkout portion of the combine may be more important than his workout numbers. He also hasn't faced many speed rushers in the big ten and looked a little slow against Arkansas in the Capital One Bowl. His body of work it outstanding though and we think there is too many positives to downgrade him for one average performance.
